Orme House | July Construction Update

Phase 1
The main ceiling of Orme House has now been fully restored with the apartments on the upper floors due to be completed over the next few weeks. The floors have been laid and the kitchens have arrived and are being installed. Once the kitchens have been installed the doors will be fitted, with corridor work sue to begin when the apartments are near completion.

All windows on the exterior of the building has been fitted with new sky lights added and the secondary glazing now been fitted throughout the apartments to eliminate street noise. Exterior brick work is near completion, with the scaffolding due to be removed over the next week.

Phase 2
The flooring is being laid on the top floors and the doors are being fitted. Once the flooring is completed they will follow on through from Phase 1 into Phase 2 with the fitting of the kitchens. The lift has now been installed and corridor work begun.

The main front door is now installed, and the scaffolding has started to come down. Once the scaffolding is all down work on the car park with begin.

Overall

• Completion is due at the end of this month (Official date to be confirmed)
• The next site visit will be Thursday 11th July
