Both London and Birmingham can be reached within less than 2 hours, the Welsh capital of Cardiff in just 50 minutes. Bristol Airport is one of the largest in the UK outside of London, flying to international destinations across all continents. With three major train stations, Bristol can also be reached directly from most major rail stations.
With two universities based in the city, the population swells by almost 50,000 by students during term time, creating high demand for student property investment in Bristol. Owing to its heritage as a trade port, Bristol also has one of the most diverse demographics in the region – with a comparatively low majority of 77.9% of White British residents. The remainder is made up of 6.0% Black, 5.5% Asian and 3.6% Mixed Race.
